January 2016: Love and Forgiveness; keys to Kingdom Glory and Blessings

Note: A world devoid of love and forgiveness is a world devoid of peace, a restless soul is a soul devoid of the power of love and forgiveness. The Spirit of God cannot reside with the spirit of man that despise others, unforgiving, unloving, bitterness, strife, jealousy and abhors hatred. For the Holy Spirit is pure and simple and like a dove it cannot abhor in dirtiness or filthiness.

Ephesians 4: 32 Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.

Romans 5:8 says ". . . commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." The lost sinner living in rebellion and sin is still loved by the Lord. He loved us enough to die for us and pay our sin debt while we were sinning against Him. This shows that true biblical love is a matter of will....not of emotion. God choose to love us and His love was not based on our meriting it in any way.

1 Peter 4: 8 Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins.

"Agapao" This word is a verb used to describe God's divine love. The noun is "agape." Example is John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16) This is the action of totally being committed to the wellbeing of others without regard for their worthiness even unto death. That love was demonstrated by Jesus when He suffered and died for our sins. We, as Christians, are to show that unselfish love to others.

For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His love for those who fear Him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us (Psalm 103:11,12).

***His Banner over us is His Love***

Jesus Christ paid the Ultimate price of love by laying his life down that we might be reconciled to the Father and since the purpose of our fellowship is for us to align to the perfect will of the father, it is imperative that we understand the full context of love and forgiveness.
Love must radiate from the inside and bosom to an outward expressed feeling of care, understanding, sharing and concern for the wellbeing of another person. It gives rise to the propensity to forgive and letting go.

***What greater love can a man have than this to lay his life down***

Perfection is founded entirely on the love of God: “Charity is the bond of perfection (Colossians 3:14);” and perfect love of God means the complete union of our will with God’s: “The principal effect of love is so to unite the wills of those who love each other as to make them will the same things.” It follows then, that the more one unites his will with the divine will, the greater will be his love of God. Mortification, meditation, receiving Holy Communion, acts of fraternal charity are all certainly pleasing to God — but only when they are in accordance with his will. Because His desire is to enshrine love as a perfect reflection of peace, harmony and ultimate joy.

We must imbibe Matthew 5:14-16 into our lives because Christians are the lights of the world and our life in Christ must demonstrate the
understanding of love and forgiveness to humanity.

If we proclaim God’s love and we respond in love, we will actively strive to let go of hurts and come to a place of forgiveness faster. Our attitude not only points others to the love of God, it also appropriate response to what God is doing in us and it brings about healing to the very existence of relationship.

We as children and followers of Christ must willing conduct our actions with love as in Ephesians 5:1-2 Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; and walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling saviour.

Note: My take is that love leads to tolerance, tolerance leads to endurance, endurance leads to understanding, understanding prompts forgiveness

*** Love does not fail- 1 Corinthians 13:18***

Important: where love exist, the heart can easily forgive because we can visualise the errors and short comings of the person in the perspective of the forgiveness we have in Christ. Foreclosure and reconciliation is easily attainable when God’s wisdom is applied.

Forgiveness is a by-product of love which promotes peace and gives hope rather than war and despair. Without forgiveness, hurt grows unchecked and we recycle failure, resentment, bitterness and mistrust in our lives. It diminishes the propensity for retaliation by accepting that the decision of human life is not beyond repairs.

The person that forgive also is healed through the process of forgiving the other party.

Martin Luther King Jr states “forgiveness is a catalyst creating the atmosphere necessary for a fresh start and a new beginning”

Harmony and unity can only be fostered by the appreciation of one another and the increase of God’s Spirit within us which is derive from our constant fellowship with God. This directs our path into brotherhood and sisterhood in Christ Jesus.

As you let go of the hurts, hatred, unforgiveness, bitterness and all manner of unproductive behaviour that hindered our fellowship and joy from the Father of grace with 2015.

Come into 2016, knowing that the grace, love, peace of God awaits you to guide your footsteps into His Plans and purpose.

We pray that you shall know the love of God upon you and all that is yours through the grace in Christ Jesus. Amen

Have a blessed and victorious year ahead knowing that you’re fearfully and wonderfully created and you are special and of a royal priesthood a people specially elect.

We pray that the Lord directs your hearth into love, the love of God and into the patience of Christ, may the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another and to all through the grace in Christ Jesus and the workings of the Holy Spirit.

James 3:18 Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

We love you, but as you celebrate the season, remember the grace and power of his grace is for you.

Receiving the word: The word is alive when it speaks to you

Faith comes by hearing, hearing by the word of God.
Wait upon the word of God for your specific purpose or situation.

Let the Holy Spirit convict your spirit of the word that is specific to your Prayer needs and then you would not go wrong in your prayer life.
Prayer becomes effective when there is a conviction of the Spirit.

Knowledge of the word is the potential promises of God but when the potential becomes actual is totally the conviction of the Holy Spirit.
That is when it becomes applicable to your situation. The logos becomes Rhema word.

Note: When the word does not speak to you, it does not apply to you, it must jump out of the page and then you catch it. You live it out by faith and believe.
The Holy Spirit does all the leading and you need to be submissive to receive freely the length, width depth and breadth of the word of God.

Applying your knowledge of the logos word read into a situation is a scatter gun approach.
God is always specific and authoritative and every instruction will come with it's application.

(John 16:8; Ephesians 2:18; Acts 2:4: John 16: 13-15, 23-24: James 3: 17; Romans 8:15; Ephesians 6: 18; Galatians 4:26; Jude 1: 20,21; 1 John 2:27; Romans 8: 26-27; John 14:16)

Covenant: Covenant Keeping God
A covenant is a contract or agreement between two or more parties. Covenant is how God has chosen to communicate to us. To redeem us and to guarantee us eternal life in Jesus. These truth revealed in the Bible are the basis of our Christianity.
The Bible is a covenant document both the Old and New Testament are the Old and New covenants of God.
The word ‘Testament’ is Latin for Covenant. God gave eternal covenant as disclosed in Hebrew 13:20 God made a covenant in regards to His elects even before the universe was formed (John 6:39; 17:9, 24)
Son was made man covenant (Colossians 2:9; 1 Timothy 2:5) Son became lower than the angel (Hebrew 2:7) died for the sins of the world (1 John 2:2; 1 Peter 2:24). The Father raised the son from dead (Psalm 2).
Eternal Covenant leads to the covenant of Grace. Covenant of grace was made by the Father to man on eternal salvation based on the sacrificial death of Christ Jesus and the atonement by His blood.

Let Your Spirit Fall

Pray in confidence with the Holy Spirit

Romans 8: 26-27
Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

The Spirit of Man is the candle for God

2 Corinthians 2:10- 12 But God has revealed them through His Spirit, for the Spirit searches all things, Yes the deep things of God...Even no one knows the things of God expect the Spirit of God. Now we have recieved, not the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given us by God.

1 Corinthians 6:17 But he who is joined to the Lord is one Spirit with Him

Love you always and you will remain a part of me forever until we both see at God's bosom. You were more than a mother and your words of wisdom and caution still resonate with me and now remain the most important treasure I have. I believe you are with your parents at the bosom of the almighty Father. For you demonstrated your love to God and His creation throughout your sojourn on Earth and you deserve eternal peace with Him. Rest in perfect peace. Always missed, so much to say..................

2016: Align with God’s Purpose and Plans

Types of Prayer: Taking charge of Your prayer life.

James 4: 2-3.....You fight and war. Yet[a] you do not have because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures.

A prayerful life seeks to honour God and have a relationship based on faith and obedience and he who must seek God must believe He exist and that He is faithful to reward those who seek Him.

1)The prayer of Faith ->the prayer of petition, the prayer to change things (Matthew 21:23, Mark 11:24). This prayer must be based on God revealed will in His word.
2) The prayer of commitment-> casting your cares upon the Lord in prayer ( 1 Peter 5:7)
3) The prayer of worship (Luke 24: 52-53; Acts 13:1-14)
4) The prayer of Agreement ( Matthew 18: 18-20)
5) Praying to obtain forgiveness (Psalm 51, Daniel 9: 2,3, 17-18)

God does not delight in seeing you receive judgment but delights in mercy (Micah 7:18, Ezekiel 33:11)

As you pray and fellowship with God in this season, believe that a new dawn of blessing and favour will flow from the father of grace and favour upon you and all that is yours in the mighty name of Yeshua the Messiah. For He has pour out His love and grace this season all those who will diligently seek Him.

Remain in His love grace and peace
