January 2016: Love and Forgiveness; keys to Kingdom Glory and Blessings

Note: A world devoid of love and forgiveness is a world devoid of peace, a restless soul is a soul devoid of the power of love and forgiveness. The Spirit of God cannot reside with the spirit of man that despise others, unforgiving, unloving, bitterness, strife, jealousy and abhors hatred.

For the Holy Spirit is pure and simple and like a dove it cannot abhor in dirtiness or filthiness.

Ephesians 4: 32 Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.

For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His love for those who fear Him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us (Psalm 103:11,12).

Colossians 3: 13 Bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.

As you let go of the hurts, hatred, unforgiveness, bitterness and all manner of unproductive behaviour that hinders our fellowship and joy from the Father of grace with 2015.

Come into 2016, knowing that the grace, love, peace of God awaits you to guide your footsteps into His Plans and purpose.

I decree that any plans or devices of the enemy to hinder your progression in 2016 and beyond shall not hold in the name of Jesus.

I declare that you shall walk into the assigned glory and favour of God upon your life in 2016 and that you shall testify to His Goodness and mercy all the days of your lives.

That you shall know the love of God upon you and all that is yours through the grace in Christ Jesus and the workings of the Holy Spirit. Amen

Have a blessed and victorious year ahead knowing that you are fearfully and wonderfully created and you are special and of a royal priesthood, a people specially elected by God.

His Banner over us is His Love

Apostle John affirms that "God is love" ( 1 John 4:8 ). God does not merely love; he is love. Everything that God does flows from his love
Romans 5:8 says ". . .commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." The lost sinner living in rebellion and sin is still loved by the Lord. He loved us enough to die for us and pay our sin debt while we were sinning against Him. This shows that true biblical love is a matter of will....not of emotion. God choose to love us and His love was not based on our meriting it in any way.
"Agapao" This word is a verb used to describe God's divine love. The noun is "apape." Example is John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16) This is the action of totally being committed to the well being of others without regard for their worthiness even unto death. That love was demonstrated by Jesus when He suffered and died for our sins. We, as Christians, are to show that unselfish love to others.

You are everything to me Lord.

Love Unfailing

His Grace and Favour upon you

But He, because He continues forever, has an unchangeable priesthood. Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them. As He continues fulfilling God's purpose for redemption and grace. May you never be short of such grace and favour this season and the years ahead. Remain in His love and peace.

Ephesians 1: 4-6 Just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.

December 2015: Grace; The Power of the Living God Covers All

Galatians 5: 1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.

Ephesians 2:8 says, "For by grace are you saved, through faith, and that not of yourselves."

Song: Amazing Grace by Chris Tomlin

We might do all the religious things, go through the motion of being a church goer, yet not have the proper understanding of the freedom which we have acquired in Christ and thereby continue in legalism and ritualization of religion, believing we get right with God through our works or good deeds.
Some might still be a non-believer that has yet come to the realisation of the importance of the death on the cross. Either side of the group which we are, we both need to come to understand the freedom in the grace of God that was given to us by the atonement of the blood of Christ on the cross.

The only way any of us can enter into a relationship with God and have fellowship and communion with Him is because of His grace toward us. The love of the father is all encompassing and it never fails, it is everlasting and unmerited grace that while we were yet sinner the Father poured out His love and grace to redeem us back to Him.

Grace began in the Garden of Eden when God killed an animal to cover the sin of Adam and Eve. Genesis 3:21

He could have killed the first humans right then for their disobedience. But rather than destroy them, He chose to make a way for them to be right with Him. That pattern of grace continued throughout the Old Testament when God instituted blood sacrifices as a means to atone for sinful men. It was not the blood of those sacrifices that cleansed sinners; it was the grace of God that forgave those who trusted in Him

The word translated "grace" in the New Testament comes from the Greek word charis, which means “favour, blessing, or kindness.” Further translation in the Strong's Concordance gives this definition; "Graciousness (as gratifying), of manner or act (abstract or concrete; literal, figurative or spiritual; especially the divine influence upon the heart, and its reflection in the life; including gratitude)" A Greek word that is related to charis is charisma (gracious gift). Both these words originated from another Greek word chairo (to rejoice, be glad, delighted).

In the Old Testament, the Hebrew term used is Chen, which is defined in Strong's as "favour, grace or charm; grace is the moral quality of kindness, displaying a favourable disposition".

When the word grace is used in connection with God, it takes on a more powerful meaning. Grace is God choosing to bless us rather than curse us as our sin deserves. It is His benevolence to the undeserving.

Grace is not just forgiveness of our sin and mercy on our misery, it is also a divine power that comes to us through Jesus absolutely freely for the sake of ministry.

“The mystery in a nutshell is just this: Christ is in you.” Colossians 1:27 MSG

The Law came by Moses, the righteousness and holiness of God written in cold hard stone. The goodness of God leads you to repentance and a change of your heart contents.

Max Lucado says, “Our God is in the business of changing hearts.”

When we truly accept the grace of God and allows it to become operational in our lives we will begin to experience a gradual change of attitude in our heart that demonstrates the power of the grace working in us, we must experience a change in the character of the old man that has been given up through the acceptance of Christ grace and as Apostle Paul recognises in Galatians 2: 20….. It is no longer I who lives, but Christ lives in me.

Surely if Christ lives in us, there will be that transformation as exhibited by Apostle Paul, who was once a terror to the Christian but became the most influential person for our Lord Jesus.

“I’ll remove the stone heart from your body and replace it with a heart that’s God-willed not self-willed.” Ezekiel 36:26 MSG

When people talk about being Christian and abhors pains, regrets, un-forgiveness, disappointment, Stigma of their past and other various conditions, it simply means they are not allowing the power of the grace received in Christ to flow and work in them. Perfect Love cast out fear.

Song: I would not go back to the way it used to be – William McDowell

Romans 8: 28-30 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

How much grace do we give others? The battlefield is the mind.

When we completely surrender to the Grace we have in Christ, we will walk in freedom and power of the grace and this will extend to the way we relate to ourselves and the ability to forgive and understand others.

The depth of love must come from within us to the outside expressing a genuine love to others.
Your love starts with God, then your immediate circle is your spouse and children, followed by family/friends/immediate neighbours, then co-workers/people you meet casually, finally outside world. The centre holds all things together.

Note: The good the Lord takes before they become corruptible, while He gives the wicked the chance to repent by the length of time they sojourn on earth so that they to come to a place of understanding of His Grace, goodness and love.

Ezekiel 33:11 Say to them: ‘As I live,’ says the Lord God, ‘I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn, turn from your evil ways! For why should you die…

Jesus asked “What man having a hundred sheep, loses one will not leave the ninety nine to seek out the lost one”

***The power of the living God resides in us through the Holy Spirit. Grace comes with Power***

We love you, but as you celebrate the season, remember the grace and power of his grace is for you.
