November 2015: El-HaNe'-eman: Increase our Faith and Believe

Deuteronomy 7:9 Know therefore that the LORD thy God, He is God, (El-HaNe'-eman) the faithful God.

God's faithfulness is a matter of His being. It is not that He chooses to be faithful. God cannot be unfaithful! God is the standard for faithfulness and His faithfulness is indisputable. But we as humans can exhibits a standard of faith that falls below God’s expectation despite our professing believe in God and Christ.

The Israelites fell short several times in their faith and believe in the Almighty God during their walk with Him in the wilderness despite the wondrous works and signs performed to get them out of Egypt. In Mark 16: 14 Jesus rebuked the disciples for their unbelief when they were told that He had risen.

Thomas walked with Jesus and witnessed a lot of His miracles but fell short in faith and believe when he doubted that Christ had risen as in John 20: 29…. Thomas because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.

This is indicative that we might go to church, fellowship, pray and do all the religious things, but our faith and believe is still shaky but who can we better call upon than God Himself to help with our faith and believe as was demonstrated by the father of the child in Mark 9:24 as he said to the Lord, please help with my unbelief.

God's faithfulness is at the core of His very nature. He is all knowing, all seeing, holy, the creator, omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, just, sovereign, unchanging, and loving, because He is faithful to His own character. God never changes any of His attributes. Paul drew on this truth when he wrote to the Thessalonians in I Thessalonians 5:24, "Faithful is He that calleth you, who also will do it." Because God is faithful we must cry out to Him in every situation and He will respond.
Faith and belief are core keys with our relationship with God as the righteous shall live by faith in order to receive the promises of the Father to those that are faithful. In Hebrew 11: 1 faith is described as the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Hebrew 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.
When we exhibit faith and believe we accelerate our receiving as was pointed out by Jesus Christ to his disciples about the great faith of the centurion in Luke 7:1-10 and on several occasions He linked most of the healing to the faith the people possessed and the believe in Him. (See also Luke 8: 43-48, Luke 17: 11-19).

Abraham who is the father of faith, demonstrated the importance of faith by firstly not looking into the deadness of both his body and that of Sarah but believing God that he will be the father of many nations, secondly the child who was be the source of this inheritance, he continued in great faith by his willingness to sacrifice Him. This was accounted for his righteousness.
David exhibited great faith in God’s ability to deliver him from the hands of Goliath through the use of a sling and a stone.

Jesus Christ demonstrated the absolute faith and believe in the Father that sent him, that He is able to resurrect Him on the third day, hence we have appreciation that nothing is impossible with God.

*** With man it is Impossible but all things are possible with God***

For God to help with our unbelief, we must begin to exhibit a degree of trust in Him. We must have appreciation that God is reliable, good, honest and effective and build our assurance on the ability and character of the Father.

We have to have hope which is an optimistic attitude of mind based on an expectation of positive outcomes related to the events we are seeking God’s intervention on. We must desire what we want to happen to be in alignment to the purpose of God for us and seek an understanding through the Word of God.

The word of God in itself is a powerful tool to help with our unbelief, he who must find God must also be prepare to spend precious time (find time) to search and dig deeper into the book of life.

David said I shall not sacrifice to my God what has cost me nothing. This is because there is value on what is given and reward is based on appreciation, fellowship, communion, relationship, worship and knowing the God we serve, as those that know Him shall do exploit.

***Faith demands that we live out what we see in future and live it as now.***

Romans 10:17 so then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Love makes us humble, charitable, appreciative and obedient and to operate in faith, we must have the love of the father residing in us, for those who love the Father will have an inherit understanding within which the revelation of the Holy Spirit gives to us as believers. As in John 14:21……. It is He who loves Me. And he who loves me will be loved by my father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.

Psalm 18:31: for who is God beside the Lord? And who is the rock expect our God?

Psalm 86:10 For you are great and do marvellous deed; you alone are God.

The essence of Christ ministry is that the father can do all things, we confess, we repent, we are reconciled and redeemed to him. We come into fellowship, Communion, worship with Him and discover his glorious goodness for while we were yet sinner he has made his love known to us through the Son.

Philippians 2:1-2 therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, fulfil my joy by being like-minded, having same love, being of one accord, of one mind.

Note: The thoughts of our mind are powerful and a continuous pure thought will germinate goodness and abundance into life, the battlefield is the heart, purify it, have it sanctified by the word of truth and you shall conquer all.
*** Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid***

John 15:7 if you abide in me, and my words abode in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.

John 3:34 For whom God has sent speaks the word of God, for God does not give the Spirit by Measure.

Hear the word of God and apply it with faith, believe it and live it out and God that has called you out of your sinful nature will glorify himself by honouring and granting your requests in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen

***Keep in prayer and fasting***

We love you, remain in faith and believe always that God has your best interest at hand.
